Our Summer Event 2013 held on Saturday 6 July 2013 at Gayton Social Club had live music provided by local bands Best Served Chilled, The Infidels, Gemma B, Lewis Murphy and the headliners Envy, also street dance group BDC.
What an amazing turnout of crowds of about two hundred enjoying a scorching hot day and listening to local bands we raised a brilliant amount of £1100.00 for SERV Norfolk (Service by Emergency Rider Volunteers) www.servnorfolk.org.uk. The live bands, singers and dancers were fantastic and kept everyone entertained. We also had an large raffle 1st prize – £250, 2nd prize IPod Nano, 3rd prize Blu-Ray Player and lots of other prizes also a auction of a signed Norwich football shirt. The day was such an success with the help of Juliette and Beth (The Original Princess Parties) for doing hair & nails, Lois Chilvers for her amazing face painting, Paul & Wendy Wightman for the numerous lucky dip prizes. Also with the support of 12th Scout Group who supplied the marquee, Rudd Marquee who loaned us the tables and chairs. We would also like to thank Dave Parish (Chairman of SERV) for attending and bringing along one of the bikes which caused a lot of interest. Last but not least all those who so generously donated the many raffle prizes.
