As Race Director would like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in making Megan’s Challenge Fun Run/Walk on Sunday such a huge success. We have raised £3165.00, thank you for all your donations, everything raised from the run will go to NARS. Again we have had so many lovely and positive compliments especially this years Mini Fun Run, which are really appreciated.

My thanks to all those who took part in both the 10k and the Mini Run/Walk (Reffley Reds U9’s Football Team) you were all amazing and hope you all enjoyed it. A special thanks to Jeff and Helen Reed whose help is invaluable. To all the Race Marshals, Paramedic – Carl Smith, Lead Quad – Shane Rasberry, Parking Co-ordinators, First Aiders, Water Monitors, Registrars, Cake & Tea Makers, Barbequers, Photographers, Baggage Attendant and last but not least Paul Strutt – NARS – Norfolk Accident Rescue Service.


Megan’s Challenge are organising our annual 10k Fun Run/Walk which will take place on Sunday 29th May 2016 round the village of Gayton, Norfolk. Following track and road, starting and finishing at Gayton Social Club. Registration from 9.00am.  Run starts at 11.00am.  The club is also the location for registration, race control, information, baggage and toilets, event stalls, refreshments and first-aid.  The entry fee and registration entry form can be found on the Run Britain website– races.

We are hoping to attract up to 150 participants, so come and join in the fun.

NEW  Megan’s Challenge Mini Fun Run is approx 1 mile for people of all ages and abilities.  The minimum age to take part on event day is 6 years old. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an for the duration of the run. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent to take part.

The event is to raise money for (NARS) Norfolk Accident Rescue Service providing expert medical help at the scene of road crashes and other emergencies
